yesterday was my hub’s 33rd bday. whee so old redi! ehhehe. i didnt buy him anything since we’ve promised to buy bday pressies in paris/uk later. i dunno what i want YET, and i hope he won’t ask much. hhahaha teruk.

anyhoo, we went to P’riok with mak and abah last nite to celebrate his bday. Raja picked me at Impiana at 7pm (I had 2-day KPI setting workshop there) and we went to Kekta’s hse in Taman Melawati to pick up his bday cake. hubs didnt know i requested kekta to bake a cake for him. actually ive ordered cuppies earlier but only 2 days before his bday that i realised i gave the cuppies maker a wrong date – 22nd May. adoi!! so i had to cancel the order and had to ask kekta to bake an impromptu cake. hehe silly me. thanks kekta for the cake! i was busy browsing books and mags at Kino last month and my eyes were glued to a cake decorating book. its filled with pictures and instructions – thats what i love most coz im not much of a reader.

it teaches how to bake and deco a cake from scratch and that was exactly what i was looking for in a baking book! haha.

we finally made an impromptu decision last night. UK & Paris. here we come, again! we got cheap fares from Qatar Airways.. kalau tak murah mmg tak pegi lah. so now ive gotta list down the things we want to do and *ehem* buy since we spent 2 days in paris just to shop last year. rugi2. baik jalan2 lagi kan.

PARIS
- panjat eiffel tower
- go up the montmarte tower and tengok scenic view from top
- buy baby stuff (not yet confirmed)
- lepak at eiffel tower at night

recently air asia announced that theyre pulling out of abu dhabi from february onwards. not sure what was the ‘real’ reason but we are affected by the exercise since we (me, hubby and parents) bought our tix already. we planned to go in late april. to be frank, i was not mad at all but in fact, relieved since i started to contemplating to go since weeks ago. haha. its a good thing though but pity those who have made ground arrangements.

i called air asia few days back. the first day i called they asked me to leave my name and cell no and they’d get back to me in 24 hours. so i waited for 36 hours and nobody called. i called them back and i insisted to talk to the operator. nak amik duit orang senang nak bagi balik bukan main lagi. i said what if i want to change the tix to other destination? the lady sounded like she has no time to arrange for that and she asked me to opt for refund instead. so i guess what the heck. just give me back my money and ill book for other tix later.

so now i have to wait for 2 months to get my money back. nasib baik la tak banyak sgt. but total 4 tix RM5k.and i asked my hubby where we wanna go this year. seriously i dont feel like going anywhere (yet) but PARIS!! ok boring la kan nak cerita pasal paris lagi. reason being? ari tu pegi tak puas jalan, banyak abis kat shopping! kalau pegi lagi sekali nak jalan2 je banyak. (ye ke? haha). and ada jugak rasa nak save money utk deposit beli rumah. tu lagi afdhal sebenarnya kan. tapi kaki gatal jugak nak jalan. cemanaaaaaaaa??

semalam kat rumah tgh tak tau nak buat apa, tetiba rasa cam nak try buat marble choc cheese cake (cilok resepi dari blog Dapurcomelku, kekta yg bagi). for the very first time, im proud to announce that my cake rokssss!! sorry kekta, bukan takmo buat masa akak ada, tp time akak ada tu very the tak larat! smlm pun bercinta gak la buat sesorang. but it wasnt that hard. tapi for a first timer like me, mesti la menggelabah beruk. knowing me! hahaha.

hari ni rase nak try buat choc souffle.. mmg dari dulu teringin nak buat. thanks to kekta sbb bagi dia punya ceklat couverture, kalau tak mmg tak terbuat jugak la. mahal woo harga coklat couverture sbb dia lg sedap, kalau tak salah, cadbury, ferrero rocher sume pakai coklat couverture.

air asia ni mmg jahat. last week diorg bagi email, ckp ada big sale. aku pun tunggu lah sampai kul 12 mlm semata2 nak cari cheapest flight tix to london (again????). tp bkn tahun ni la, nx year. betul la orang ckp, once dah ‘bukak mata’ tengok negara orang, rasa mcm nak pegi lagi.

tp semua sia2 belaka.. rupenye diorg nye offer tu utk domestic flight sahaje.

tapi tidak utk hari ini! nasib baik aku check email, dpt lg satu email from air asia, kul 1 pagi ni diorg open for international flight lak. aduhaii.. sakit jiwa tgk tiket pi UK only RM478 one way. tensen makcik!!

tp kali ni, maybe pegi 2 org je lah, mungkin bertiga kalau aku dah ada baby time tu. nak jalan jugak tuh! skang ni lagi 15 min to 1.. aku sanggup bersengkang mata ni. harap2 berbaloi la usaha gigih aku ni..

apa2 pun kena secure tiket dulu, planning comes later. just like what i did before haha. maybe kali ni nak pegi scandinavian or mediterranean pulak. aminnnnn!

lepas seminggu tepat kitorg kat bumi europe ni, baru hari ni sempat nak menulih apa yg dah jadi sepjg trip kami ni.. btw this is our first time to europe.. and first time jugak raja pegi oversea. fuhfuh org lain pegi indon ke siam ke dulu.. dia first time terus pegi europe hehhee. gambar will be shared later..

- pagi2 lagi aku dgn raja dah kuar, hantar album kat client, jumpa raxzee bg CD pastu gi tukar duit. aku sempat singgah ofis sbb nak bagi file kat opismet suruh pass kat boss nnt. agak last minute jugak la. kul 12 kitorg balik rumah pak syed dah tunggu, siap2 terus pegi airport. tukar duit: 500 GBP, 500 euro. Sabtu lepas (4hb April) — Aku, Fairul dan Shaharom pegi berbasikal lagi di Hulu Langat.. Memula tu aku cam malas je nak ikut sebab malas nak bangun pagi2 sangat kan (alasan je ni).. tapi yg paling aku ralat ialah ketiadaan seluar cycling yg ada pad kat bahagian bawah tu (bukan pad pompuan eh).. tapi entah kenape aritu aku tetibe rasa cam nak beli gak.. aku tanya sharom mana nak carik seluar tu.. then dia cakap ada kat kedai kat ampang nama ape ntah aku tak ingat plak.. aku tanya Fairul gak.. dia pun cakap carik dekat situ leh dapat murah…

Hari Isnin baru ni (semalam-masa cuti Thaipusam) aku join geng2 aku (Fairul + Sharom) cycling. Last time tak jadi sebab aku demam teruk tu.. Semalam aku telah membulatkan hati utk join deorang ni.. hehehe.. punye la lama aku tak naik basikal, rasanya last time aku ingat time2 aku keje kat City Square dulu kot..

Hmm.. janji hari senin tu dlm kul 7.30am RV kat pekan Bt 14, hulu langat. Tapi kitorang masing2 lambat, aku pulak kul 7 baru nak kuar umah huhu.. lewat bgn sbb malam tu aku tido kul 4am.. ari jumaat baru ni aku MC sbb demam.. kak ita, muaz, nuha dgn maid diorg dtg rumah sbb kak ita nak pegi berurut. rasanya nak abis dah tempoh pantang kak ita.

actually dr smlm lagi kak ita suruh aku mc hahaha. tp aku mc bkn sbb dia suruh la. mmg aku demam pon. tp demam2 pon dia suruh aku bake cake!! hampeh! tp disebabkan kek yg dia suruh aku buat tu tak susah pun.. sbb dia dah beli siap2 dah cake mix pillsbury.. kena whisk dgn mixer pastu letak je dlm bekas cupcake.. pastu bakar mcm biasa. hahaha. disebabkan aku dgn mr hubby dah makan kak ita punya mac & cheese pagi2 tadi smpi habis, aku pun buat jugak la kek ceklat dia tu.

alhamdulillah.. ari ni mr hubby dah kebah skit demam dia.. badan pun dah suam2 kuku. mintak2 by tomorrow dah fully recover la..aku lak dah ok.. tapi flu dgn phlegm tak ok2 lagi.. mmg melekat2 dlm tekak.. iskk!!

ari ni mr hubby ckp nak lunch mushroom soup.. tp teringat dia ckp sup campbell ari tu tak brp nak sedap.. so aku pun tetiba dtg mood nak cari resepi mushroom soup and try buat sendiri. pastu terjumpa la resepi si anthony bourdain, the famous chef. bila check2 fridge, barang mcm tak cukup. tp tawakal jela. haha. so here’s the recipe:

malam ni baking mood dah sampai.. padahal dinner tadi baru je order pizza hut. hehe. aku sempat la jamah 2 slice pizza.. dah kenyang gak tapi nak jgk try buat baked macaroni.. tadi before mr hubby balik dr shooting sempat pesan kat dia beli full cream, minced meat & teloq. tanpa melengahkan masa.. aku pun tiru lagi la resepi dlm internet.. dgn harapan menjadi la baked macaroni kali ni..
