ok tipu la kalau kata sekali pun tak pernah cuci muka. masa zaman muda belia (read: 15 tahun dulu) pernah cuci muka gatai2.. masa tu kulit mmg suci mulus tulus ikhlas, time tu la gatai nak cuci. pinjam mak punya facial scrub cap avon. bau avocado. mmg ingat sangat sbb bau dia sedap. lepas tu masuk uni, dah mmg cakar2 ayam dah muka. beli je pencuci tapi tak cuci2, last2 buang camtu jer. masa tu guna l’oreal. rasanya kena jugak la dgn muka tapi apakan daya, kalau dah pemalas tu pemalas jugak.

maka setelah hampir 10 tahun, sekarang umur dah nak masuk 30 baru nak timbul kesedaran nak cuci muka balik, lepas tengok muka makin kusam, masam, berdengung, berjerawat, berjeragat dan sebagainya. tu pun ada jugak org kata muka kita ni flawless.. hahahahhahahahhaha. ha kan dah gelak. hellow.. kalau flawless takde le mak sibuk2 nak cuci muka balik khennn.

memandangkan sekarang dah ada gaji sendiri, mak hapgred sikit la dari l’oreal ke Kiehls. Why Kiehls? taktau! seriously tatau pasai pa ntah. peer pressure pun takder. tetiba light bulb timbui atas kepala suruh beli kiehls. baca ada sorang blogger ni review dia kata ok teruih rasa cam ok la why not kan. maka satu hari yg indah, turun2 klcc je terus terpa kedai depa. mementang dekat. jahanam tul.

cina kiehls tu tanya la muka jenih apa. mesti dia takleh nak detect sbb sebelum balik kerja mmg tepek bedak kat muka sbb takmau nampak oily. padahal muka ni mmg oily tahap bole goreng 20 ketui nugget, deep fry. especially kat t-zone la. so mamat tu suggest amik travel set utk oily face sbb tak penah try lagi kan.. kalau amik yg besar terus kang kalau tak kena dgn kulit rugi pulak.. so ok lah, amik je la. terbang RM200. tapi nak cantik punya pasai (cantik ke pon??) kalau travel set ni habis dan terbukti muka ai cun melecun, mmg nak stick dgn kieh’s terus. kalau tak ai beli SKII jer (yea rite). soo.. harap2 muka ai cantik dan flawless la pasni. hihih

agak2 azam tahun 2011 dah achieve belum? jgn harap la. so utk 2012 saya berazam utk tidak menambah azam2 yg belum achieve lagi. sekian terima kasut.

not a fan of oreo, really tapi terpanggil utk buat cookies ni semalam sbb tgk ingredients macam tak banyak sgt pastu baking time per tray is only 10 mins! lalu bersegeralah saya menyuruh incik husband beli oreo dgn choc chip sbb benda dua tu jer yg takde kat umah hehe. masa tgh baking tu punyala saspen sbb aritu buat nutella cookies kerah nak mapus terus moody. hahah. masa tgh bake tu mmg dok berdoa la mintak2 sedap. and alhamdulillah, my cookies turn out godeng delicioso!! rasa macam famous amos, very crispy and yummy to the tummy? ok dah2 la puji cookies sendiri. nah recipe:

1 stick softened butter (about 110-120gm)
6 Tablespoons sugar
6 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ¼ cup flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
11 broken pieces Oreo Cookies
1 cup chocolate chips
Method:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175C). Cream butter, and sugars until well combined. Add egg and vanilla until mixed well.
2. Place flour, baking soda and salt into a large bowl, stir to combine. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients then stir in oreos and chocolate chips until just combined.
3. With a medium cookie scoop, scoop onto baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until cooked, but still soft. Let cool on baking sheet for 3 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.

PS: kalau nak kurangkan gula skit pun boleh.

last week i had the chance to attend KM Asia Conference 2011 in Singapore. Whee! First time dapat pegi conference oversea (walaupun over selat je) tapi eksaited gak lah sbb all paid for. This is my 2nd time in Spore, first time masa bulan 3 ari tu, masa tu fahri pun kecik kemetot lagi.

There were abt 6 of us, 3 from PMU and the other 3 are from KM fraternity across group. I know Miss Zatul, who is my school friend’s sister, cum ex mmu lecturer and now shes with PERMATA. KL kecik oi. pi balik jumpa orang tu jugak. It was JJ’s first time in Spore, he hasn’t travelled since the last 5 years! amagad.. i dunno if i can stand that long to not travel hehe

we stayed at Royal Plaza on Scotts a.k.a RP (just an intersection away from Orchard Road wuhoo!) one of the few hotels serving halal food in spore. I really like the superfast wifi in the room and a wide range of food served during breakfast at RP! The conference was at Amara Hotel, about 7km away from Orchard. Amara is one lousy hotel, the reception didnt even know there was a conference running when we asked and he advised us to check the conference room ourselves at level 3. then what the hell are you there for la? isnt that supposed to be your bloody job? ops sorry emo plak. mmg emo lah sbb kau kerja hotel kot. dah la tak tahu ada event apa aritu, pastu suruh guest check sendiri. dah la hotel kecik gila babas kot. adoila. when we complaint to the manager, guess what, he said he didnt know about any conference too. padahal when we checked, terang2 kat skrin tv besar tepi lif ada tulis KM Asia Conference. OMG!! mmg kena ban seumur idup la hotel tu. sorry to say but it is one cap ayam hotel.

Im not gonna talk abt the Conference though, since i am more excited to talk abt the food me and JJ had at Fika, a swedish, halal restaurant at Arab Street on the second day of our trip. I ‘found’ this resto during my first trip in March and i know i had to go there the next time i go to Singapore. Actually, on the 2nd day, i was soo bloody tired coz we went back from Amara to RP abt 5 and we started our ‘journey’ at 7. we first went to H&M abt 1km from RP (yes we walked!!) and i was a bit disappointed to see the price tags. its a bit pricey than H&M UK. i was expecting abt the same range of price tapi takpelah dah pegi sana, so i grabbed 2 tops and 1 pants for Fahri.

we then walked til this mall near Somerset MRT station for dinner but mmg takdo lah kat situ. I was tooooooo damn tired to walk already but somehow i found myself at Fika at Arab Street. hahahaha. demi perut ku sanggup gagahkan kaki!! i ordered the infamous meatballs and JJ ordered something chicken. see, i dont even remember what he ordered coz his food wasnt THAT nice as compared to MINE!! bahahaha! sumpah demi Allah, meatballs tu adalah tersedap pernah di makan seumur hidup! no im not exaggerating! i couldnt finish 2pcs so i gave to JJ and i dunno how many times he said “sedapla” lepas dia makan tu. hahaha.

and there was this couple behind us having some sort of strawberry cheesecake and we decided to give it a try too. and sumpah demi Allah jugak, that was the BESTEST stoberi cheesecake ive ever eaten in my whole entire life! its called strawberry daiquiri.. waaaa sedap gila tak terkata! rasa macam nak lumur muka dgn cheesecake tu! we indulged ourselves with good food, so good that we had to pay almost $80 for our dinner that night hahahha.

so i guess thats the highlight of my trip, no? hahaha. Dear Fika, Y U NO OPEN ONE IN MALAYSIA?? Let me know if ure opening soon in KL, I promise i’ll be your loyal customer ever!!

rasa mcm baru je check pregnancy test, tup2 fahri dah setahun. wuah! time flies really fast! tak perasan pun dari sehari ke sehari fahri membesar, tup tup dah setahun. macam2 dah dia boleh buat sekarang, especially membebel. ayayayooteteteyayayababbabapapapa. babai pun dah pandai. dan jugak buat mulut muncing bila disuruh. haha. anddddd dah pandai mengamuk jugak. kalau cakap no, lagi la dia buat. kalau dia pegang wayar ke apa pastu tarik dari tangan dia, terus mengamuk2 hempas badan ke tilam. amboi! sakan nau ngamok eh? rasanya masa mengandung dulu takde pulak mama dia buat perangai pelik2. tp makcik pun cakap, biasanya budak perangai macam2 ni masa mengandung mak dia behave jer. mungkin tu ayat nak sedapkan hati aku je kot? haha.

last saturday kitorg buat bday celebration for fahri. tak payah la nak share gambar kat sini, cukupla kat FB hehe. as expected, ramai jemput tp ramai jugak la yg tak dpt dtg. silap gak la order food banyak, lenkali nak betul2 la jemput n order food so tak la terlebih banyak sgt nnt. hope fahri had fun on his bday walaupun dia tak paham apa2. but good to see new, old and familiar faces that came on that day.

i still remember back in my study years i always had things to write, though my life revolved around books and notes (not). no matter how dull my life was back then, i still have some things to share in my blog. ive tried to check my long-abandoned blog but to my dismay, it has been deleted by blogspot coz apparently there’s a new rule stated that all non-active blogs since 2003 (or so i cant remember) will be deleted permanently. sighhhhhhh..

now that i am married with a baby, shouldnt i have MORE things to write and share? i wonder where has all the ‘creative juice’ go. has my life been so stagnant and boring that i couldn’t find anything interesting to write about. or is it the blog layout that is so dull that dampen my spirit to write? haha what a lame excuse.

i think i know why. its either i am too busy working even when i am home, or whenever i feel like writing, i am not in front of the pc. hahah. alasan demi alasan.

this is our first time celebrating Raya with a baby, and as parents, of course. Raya this time means so much to us, that we didnt really bother to search for our baju raya, but managed to grab 3 pairs of baju melayu and few tops for fahri hehe. its true what people say that nothing in the world really matters when you have a baby. tapi takpe, as long as i get to doll him up, MOJ (Mak Ok Je) hehe.

first raya kitorg pakai baju warna hitam, sbb warna tu je mama and papa ada. mama terpaksala recycle baju 4-5 tahun lepas haha. baju ni beli kat jusco, RM45 je sepasang. ok la tew.

raya kedua kat jitra, fahri tak pakai baju melayu dah sbb mama and papa tak pakai baju kurung/melayu. ni baju baby gap, tak tahan tgk comel sgt, terus beli. takpela bkn selalu. selalu2 mmg bengkok la mama.

hmm tengok la gaya dia tu. mcm budak besar je. padahal baru 10 bulan. skrg fahri dah pandai balance, tak lama lagi nak berdiri la tu. pas ni dah dapat ‘kaki’ jenuh la nak kena kejar dia hehe

ni gambar raya ketiga, pakai hensem2 macam nak pegi kejer, last2 tido je kat BM. ni baju mothercare, ada sale ari tu, tengok mcm cute je.. so amik je lah. btw sian anak mama flu teruk. now dah balik kl pun flu teruk lagi. harap2 cepatla sembuh, mama n papa nak bawak fahri gi beraya ni hehe

fahri’s now 9 months and 2 weeks old. its the 2nd day of Ramadhan today and I still remember last Ramadhan when I was still carrying him. Being super small, my tummy felt so tight and I was so worried coz I thought Fahri didnt have ample space to move around. I am lucky that my pregnancy wasnt as bad though I had a really severe backache and cough that I bleed and got 1 month MC ahead of my EDD. Well thanks to my gynae, I had a good rest at home whilst waiting for Fahri to see me

Time flies really fast, aye? Now a year has passed and Im already planning for his first birthday party. But I dont want get too excited coz anything can happen, right? today I heard a friend of mine who lost a baby just after she gave birth. I don’t know what happened but I cant imagine if im in her shoes!! imagine going all the hardship for 9 months and buying baby stuff and waiting for the day to come but only to see a breathless baby. Maha dasyat dugaan dia.. A friend of mine told me that the baby was already breathless when she popped out.. thats like the worst nightmare of all mommies kan?

now one of my BFFs is struggling in the hospital. Hopefully she’ll be all OK, insya Allah. cant wait to see her little angle.. must be as cute as his parents.. Fa, my prayers with you darling. Im so happy that you’ll finally become a mommy! i know what you’ve gone through and i know you really deserve this bundle of joy. u’ll be a good mommy fa, i have faith in you. love you loads! nanti kita pegi gymboree sama2 k

These are some of the excerpts I get from my trainee’s report for our Monday’s Speakers’ Corner the other day. At first I thought this would be one of the easiest tasks for her but boy I was all wrong.

When I asked her whether she copy and paste the sentence in BM and asked Mr. Google to translate, she said “ada lah refer sikit2″. Hello Miss, if you wish to lie, try harder next time ok. Well yes at least she tried to write in English but direct-translation using Google Translate will only make you look like a fool.

Its not only writing, they dont even understand what they’re doing and what irks me the most is that they dont have this inquisitive mind or even expression at all. Kalau tak paham tu main menonong je tulis ayat, bukan nak tanya supervisor. Pastu sendiri pun taktau tulis apa. Comprehension pun jauh ke laut. Ada lagi sorang trainee, dalam report dia tulis “cottoned up”. now what in the world is cottoned up? she’s my friend’s trainee though, not mine but both are of same quality. when my friend asked her, she said “i tak ingat i tulis apa”. then my fren tanya, “apa yang u nak tulis sebenarnya? explain in BM je” and she said “i pun tak ingat i nak cakap apa sebenarnya”. ohemgee double you tee F.

memangla kalau budak2 dtg training kita kena tolong diorang in their reports and all. tapi they need to help themselves first. kalau sendiri takde hati nak improve, macam mana kita nak tolong? i am not mad, im just sad. sedih pikir macam mana la bebudak ni nak cari kerja nanti? dah la sekarang semua interview mostly in english, even government pun ada yang cakap english. unless kalau nak bukak business sendiri pastu register dgn kementerian kewangan la. ni baru sorang dua aku jumpa macam ni. kawan aku cakap kat uni yg dia ajar tu mmg lagi teruk pun ada. dia siap bagi lecture in english for 2 hours, lepas abis kelas dia tgk muka bebudak tu blur semacam, dia tanya la “korang paham tak?” guess what they said “haa yang itu kami paham!”. ya Allah, kalau aku la jadi lecturer, mau sakit dada naik darah tinggi masuk hospital terus. Haih, betulla Usop Wilcha cakap, “Itulah Pentingnya English Education..”

what triggered me to write this today is the presentation pack my trainee just forwarded to me this morning. Hari ni diorang punya final presentation, semalam ada dry-run but I was on leave. My friend cakap memang lintang-pukang tak fully-prepared pastu bila present tak paham apa yg diorg nak cakap sebenarnya. Harap2 anak aku takdela seteruk ni bila besar nanti. Aku pun bukanla pandai sangat English, tapi rasanya tak la seteruk bebudak ni. Nak kata mak bapak aku cakap english kat rumah, mmg nan hado. Tapi aku banyak belajar dari apa yang aku dengar dan baca, walaupun baca lirik ye, bukan baca buku pun. At least ada la inisiatif nak belajar sendiri. Ni bebudak ni aku rasa jenis spoon-feed kaw2 pastu takut nak cuba.

Well good luck to them. Aku taktau nak marah ke nak sedih takpun takde perasaan bila trainee aku present depan lecturer dia jap lagi.

minggu lepas masa department staff engagement, GM ada sebut pasal sexual harassment. memang tak common la benda ni but not so uncommon too, nak pulak bila dah kerja ni memang macam2 boleh jadi.

to me, sexual harassment can happen in many forms. bukan nak kutuk, tapi rasanya most of the cases jadi kat pejabat gomen. yes call me bias, coz ive experienced it myself once. masa tu kat kantin, sumpah tak kenal sapa org tua kutuk tu.

pakcik tua tak sedar diri: “beratur ni nak beli roti canai ke dik?”
me: “aah roti telur”
pakcik tua tak sedar diri: “ooo.. telur 2 bijik ke?”
me: “WTF!!” (ok aku exaggerate, sebenarnya aku terdiam kaku sbb tak sangka nak dapat jawapan bangs*t mcm tu).

kalau ikut hati, mau je aku balas balik. tp bila tengok pakcik tu yg mcm sebaya tak pun tua lagi dari bapak aku, aku kenselkan aje. kang kalau dia kena buang kerja, cemana nak sara anak bini dia nanti. boleh tak aku pikir mcm tu.

btw tu contoh yg agak subtle lah, aku tau banyak lagi kes kronik, kalau sebut makan hari nak habis. kenapa kes sexual harassment ni selalu dikaitkan dengan lelaki, especially MELAYU. yes MELAYU. org cina ke india ke takde la dengar sgt kes haruan makan anak, kes sexual harassment ke hapa. diorg lagi sibuk pikir nak majukan bangsa sendiri dari pikir seks. dah org melayu ni takde benda lain ke korang nak pikir selain seks? memang lah naluri lelaki tu 99% pikir pasal perempuan, seks bagai. tapi tak perlu la nak tunjuk hidung belang kat ofis, nak pulak kau tu dah nak pencen. malu la sikit. tak pikir ke apa anak bini rasa kalau tau perangai suami/bapak diorg jelek nak mampus mcm tu? nauzubillahi min zalik.

kat ofis skrg pun ada kes sexual harassment. GLC kot. tapi bukan aku yg kena lah, org lain. walaupun dalam nada lawak, tapi mmg boleh fall under sexual harassment. kawan baik aku sorang ni, perempuan, baru balik cuti kawin 3 minggu. dia pegi honeymoon kat bali. pastu ada la 2 makhluk lelaki yang berumur 40-an menyapa kawan aku ni “macam mana? best kahwin?” sambil gelak2 gatai.

diorg ni nak kata dungu, sekolah tinggi, dapat degree, dah kawin ada anak bagai. tapi tak boleh ke sebelum ko cakap tu ko pikir dulu apa impact die kat orang tu? terkulat2 kawan aku tu nak jawab. ye lah, of course la org baru kawin akan cakap best. aku yang dengar pun rasa annoyed and irritated, apatah lagi kwn aku tu.

aku harap fahri besar nanti tak la jadi perangai sejelek ni. tolong lah, kalau kau tak respect diri sendiri, please have some respect to women. what you say really shows your bloody attitude. jgn sampai satu hari ada yang kena DI sbb kes sexual harasment sudah.

last wiken ajak sang suami pegi OBB, sbb nya dari dulu teringin nak pegi tapi tak penah2 sampai. so petang tu bawak fahri sekali pi kedai OBB kat shah alam. teringin sgt nak pegi sbb nak tengok kedai dia yg super comel tu.. selama ni dok tengok dlm magazine n dlm gambar bloggers jer.. kali ni nak pi tgk dgn mata kepala sendiri n last2 lansung tershopping. bwahahhaa. bulan ni adalah bulan shoppingku. hadoi. parah mak nak! apahal ntah gegila pnya shop this month. tapi 2 of the items are not mine anyways, beli utk orang. the rest are mine. *evil laugh*

so before pegi tu sempat la bersiap2, pakai mekap bagai. first time try ‘smokey eyes set’ from sephora. mementang baru bukak kat klcc teww, terus mak terjah. ahhaha. dan sempat la tergrab mekap seketul tu. so sbb nak bg hilang rasa bersalah sbb biasanya kalau beli mmg tak pakai, lalu aku pun bersegeralah memekapkan diri ikut instruction kat kotak tu. memula mmg nampak pelik hokay sbb tak pernah2 la mekap mata sebegitu rupa. incik suami mcm biasa, first reaction dia mmg tegezut la tengok apahal la bini dia bersiap bagai. dia cakap mekap camtu elok pakai malam2 je. well mmg betul pun dia cakap tu tp dah bini dia gatai sgt nak try hehe.

mak siap cakap aku dah tahap bole mekap pengantin. hahaha comel la mak ni. ada ka patot ? hancoq muka anak orang nanti. terus tak jadi kawin hahaha. so aritu dpt la jmpa si jezmine blossom yg super glamour tu.. aritu ada terjmpa kat empire masa event apa ntah tp tak sempat nak borak lama. apparently she still remember me as dell from marryme not bad eyy? *perasan*

fahri being himself, time bawak jalan mmg seeeeeeeenyap jer. pastu tengok keliling dgn muka serious dia. jezmine pun smpi tertipu dgn fahri.. dia kata baiknya fahri behave. haaaaa tunggu la lama sket.. sekali dia keluar subwoofer dia silap2 bole pecah cermin kedai hang. hahaha. btw kedai jezmine mmg sgt comel, kreatif sungguh cara dia deco kedai dia. adoi la. kalau la marryme boleh buat kedai mcm dia kan bessssss!! *berangan itu indah*

so before balik tu sempat la snap beberapa gambar sebagai bukti mekap dan bukti dah sampai OBB hahaha. gediks plak.

last tuesday masa hari wesak ikut rombongan merisik Ana kat seremban. Ana is Ein’s gf. Akhirnya mereka akan disatukan, insya Allah bulan 9 ni nikah, kenduri nye ujung bulan 11. agak rushing jugak la bagi aku tapi benda baik elok segerakan. couple lama2 pun tak manis hehe.

aritu terpaksala usung sekali si bibik Tari sbb takut kalau fahri buat perangai tanak tido mcm kat umah umi ari tu. tapi tengok2 dia tak buat perangai pun.. gudboy! hehehe. ramai kata fahri dah kecut.. mmg kecut pun la sbb kurang sgt minum and tido siang. dia sgt la lasak n tak reti dok diam tapi merangkak tak pandai lagi. hari ni (20 may) tepat umur dia 7 bulan. weh cepat gila rasa.. mcm baru je beranak kat dia tup2 dah 7 bulan. a part of me happy sbb dia dah besar, but a part of me sedih sbb cepatnya anak mama tu besarrrrrrrrr ( tup2 nanti tetiba je dia dah pegi sekolah. yg mama n papa ni sibukla dok cari rejeki nak besarkan dia. kalau la utang bulanan aku tak banyak mmg selambe je dah benti kerja sbb nak spend time dgn fahri huk2.
